Mike Savage is the CEO of 1-800 Accountant, a virtual accounting firm transforming small business accounting with innovative technology. His dedication and passion earned him the Glassdoor Top CEOs award in 2018. 
A New Canaan resident, Savage graduated from Brigham Young University’s School of Accountancy and launched his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers. There, he worked as a consultant in the fraud division, handling high-profile investigation cases and advising on financial statements and earnings restatements for several Fortune 500 companies. 
Savage saw the potential for businesses of all sizes to benefit from the high-quality services he provided. This vision led to the creation of 1-800 Accountant. Focused on reducing the stress of bookkeeping and tax preparation for small business owners, 1-800 Accountant has grown into one of the nation’s largest small business accounting firms, serving over 200,000 clients.
